StockTap is built and run by Shaun McManus, a licensee in Washington, Tyne and Wear, and a Personal Licence holder.

I run a pub with seventeen staff on a tied agreement. Everything on this site comes out of running it: five independent liquor audits between December 2025 and July 2026, the reports they produced, and what I got wrong reading them.

Every figure published on this site is attributed. Where the number is mine, it comes from my own stocktake reports and I say so. Where it is someone else’s, it is a published rate card, a filed set of accounts or a named report, and I name it. If you think a figure here is wrong, email me and I will correct it or take it down.
